Biete ein Paar Seitenschwellerverkleidungen vom Modell ab 1994/95 bis 2000.Auch geeignet für GEN 1 Fahrzeuge.Original Lack mit lagerungsbedingten Kratzern. Keine substanziellen Beschädigungen.

Desweiteren noch einen Frontstoßfänger GEN2.Auch geeignet zum Umbau von GEN1 Fahrzeugen.
Lack ist schlecht, lagerungsbedingte Kratzer und einige Abschürfungen im linken Seitenbereich.
Keine substanziellen Beschädigungen.

Sorry to drag this off topic but I am always on the lookout for differences between my US Spec 3000GT VR4 and cars sold in other countries. I am wondering what the 2 factory looking oval holes are centered above the mouth of the bumper? This is the same generation as my car but our cars in the US did not have those holes. We have our license plates mounted there but they are on a clip that comes up from out of the mouth.





Also I notice that, like my US car, there are no headlight washers or coner marker lights like those found on EU Spec 3000GTs. Is this bumper actually from a GTO imported as a grey market used car from Japan?

The color looks green but not the Forest Green I have on mine. This looks more like Olive Green? There was an Olive Green offered in the US for one year in 96 or 97.

The Headlight Washer was a EU spec (German) thing. It was required for cars with retractable Headlights like the Gen1 GT (TÜV requirement). They kept it for the Spec2 (gen2), although they don´t have retractable headlights. I don´t know if it was still a "German" TÜV requirement back then... But if you have headlight washers installed you can expect it to be a german (EU) bumper.

Not sure about the JPN Specs. It might be a replacment/spare part for the US market. Fabricated in JPN and than shippend to the US. Like when you hit something and need to replace the front bumber, these bodyparts normally come directly from Japan. (When I stayed in the US I had to replace my lower doorpanel and it came also directly from Japan, already painted)

That could explain the "holes" in a US Bumper.

I'm adding the headlight washers to my US Spec as they never came with them, but my question about the bumper above is what are those holes that sit where the license plate would cover them?

The holes in question don't exist in a US bumper.

I know, thats why I think it is an replacement part, shipped from JPN. SInce they just make one part for the whole world without market specification, this results in a US Bumper with holes. If you go to a mitsudealer and you order a new bumper, this bumper is made solely as a spare part in the JPN factory. They just have one machine, which crafts the bumper with holes, although you are in the US market, your new bumper coming from JPN as a spare part has holes

This is just my theory. No proof so far.

So ganz kann ich deiner Theorie nicht zustimmen, auch wenn sie sich soweit logisch anhören würde. Aber die deutschen Gen.2 Schürzen haben eine herausnehmbare Blende für den Abschlepphacken welche die US Schürzen nicht haben. Ähnliches gilt auch für die Heckschürzen. Bei denen mit den langen Kennzeichen kann man das Mittelteil herausnehmen, während das bei den mit den kleinen Kennzeichen nicht möglich ist.

Da hast du auch wieder recht... wäre auch zu einfach die Erklärung gewesen. Aber vielleicht hats im entfernten Sinne doch damit zu tun... man weiss es leider nicht bis einer kommt und Ahnung hat
